F.A.Q.
We assist Sri Lankan applicants with Japan student visas, Japan work visas (including skilled worker categories), and Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visas covering 14 designated industries.
From initial consultation through Certificate of Eligibility (COE) issuance and embassy stamping, the process generally takes 8–12 weeks. Timelines can vary by visa type and embassy workload.
- Student visas: No formal JLPT level is required to enroll in language schools (N5–N3 courses available).
- SSW visas: You must pass JLPT N4 (or JFT-Basic) plus an industry skills test.
- Work visas: Language isn’t strictly mandated, but proficiency can strengthen your application and performance.
Our fees vary by visa type and service level. After an initial free consultation to assess your needs, we’ll provide a transparent, itemized quote covering both Roobik Travels’ service fee and government charges.
Once your visa is issued, we provide pre-departure orientation, cultural guidance, and a local contact in Japan for emergency assistance and settling-in support.
